AHH! Our first product has finally launched and it makes my heart the happiest it can be. To think that you will all get to have it in your homes makes me oh so joyful. We hope you love it just as much as we loved designing it and bring it to life.
On today’s blog I wanted to share with you ideas on how to style your open shelving for your living space because who doesn’t love open shelving? I would say open shelving has been critical to the decorating of our small apartment. Shelving opens the perfect opportunity for decorating that won’t take space.
Idea Number One: Wall Decor, Small Flower Arrangement, Candles Sticks and a cutie green plant.
I love using wall decor to be displayed as the centerpiece of the shelving, Then I love adding details that will add dimension to your decoration such as greenery which is always a must because it brings tranquility into the space. Working on adding different textures and heights to your shelving is always a must.
Idea Number Two: Letter Board, Circle Mirror, Plant and Candle Sticks.
Letter Boards are just so helpful while decorating not only do they look so cute in open shelving but you can change around quotes weekly to spruce up your decor. Which is something I love about our Always Joyful Collection, three beautiful designs that can be changed to give your home decoration a refresh. Adding a mirror at the center of the shelving will brighten up the room and make it look more open.
Idea Number Three: Statement Vase, Hard Cover Books, Candle Stick and Family Portrait.
I feel that a statement vase will always add texture into the room and what a perfect way to contrast this than with the simplicity of bunny tails. When we first got married we were on a huge budget and I didn’t really have a lot of home décor. This is when books came in handy, I removed the plastic cover and discovered the beauty and charm of the hard-books. Stacking them and adding a unique candle stick will always do the trick.
We hope that you make our Always Joyful Collection a part of your home and you decorating style!
How do you like to style open shelving?
With Love,
